I love to ramble through wild places, taking time to enjoy the landscape, the light and the living things. I take a camera concentrating on different aspects depending on the seasons and my mood.
I am aphantasic: I do not really have a "mind's eye" and for me the photography lets me picture again the things I have seen.
My purpose is to recreate my experiences of a particular place and so I group my photos by location.
I should add that things I see approaching or leaving a particular site get lumped in and so images may have originated a little outside the specified area.
I have sometimes identified species appearing but while interested in everything wild I am expert in none. Corrections are welcome!
